Volodymyr Olefir

PhD, Senior Researcher

Institute for Economics and Forecasting, NAS of Ukraine Kyiv, Ukraine

Born in Kyiv in 1962. His MA earned at Ukrainian Agricultural Academy in 1984, and his PhD at Institute for Economics AS of Ukraine in 1993.

Volodymyr Olefir has been working at the IEF since 1989. He is author of 29 articles in scientific journals and co-author of 6 collective monographs.

Current research interests: liberalism and protectionism in foreign trade, economic integration in the context of globalization, regulation of consumer markets.
