Silvia Baiocco, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Management at the School of Economics, Tor Vergata University of Rome, where she teaches courses in Business Management.
She contributes to bridging academia and industry by serving as Director of the Start Cup Lazio Regional Academic Business Plan Competition.
She has collaborated with the UNWTO Academy, the OECD, ORP (the Holy See’s tour operator), the Rome Tourism Department, and the University of Ghana on projects related to tourism and start-up development.
Her main research interests include co-evolution in tourism, sustainable tourism, knowledge exchange networks, and university start-ups and spin-offs.
