Shalini Talwar is Associate Professor, Department of Finance & Law, K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai, India. She is MBA and PhD. in finance with over 22 years of experience in industry and management education. She has published 4 books and more than 25 research papers in national and international publications of repute.

Her book on Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, published by Cengage Publishers, is being used as textbook in many institutes. She has also written a book on Financial Inclusion.

She is the founding editor-in-chief of a research journal and has edited several research publications over the years. She is on review panel of many journals and publishers.

She has convened and chaired many research conferences, workshops and seminars.

Her core research areas are International Economics, Investment Management, Risk Analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial Econometrics, Financial Markets and Financial Inclusion. She is also well-versed in advanced data analysis techniques.

She has also conducted MDPs for reputed organizations like NSE Academy, Arkema, INS Hamla, MICO and Mahindra & Mahindra.

Included in Shaliniโ€™s repertoire of diverse experience are projects for establishment of FM community radio station, IGNOU Study Centre and an engineering college.
