Abstract: Artificial Intelligence holds significant influence in the realm of onยญline sexual abuse, revolutionizing both perpetration and prevention. Through sophisticated algorithms and machine learning, AI facilitates the proliferaยญtion of explicit content, grooming techniques, and online exploitation. Its rapยญid evolution enables predators to exploit vulnerabilities, evade detection, and manipulate victims. Conversely, AI-driven technologies offer promising avยญenues for detection, intervention, and victim support. The following paper highlights the dual nature of AIโs impact on online sexual abuse, emphasizing the urgent need for comprehensive regulation, ethical guidelines, and collabยญorative efforts to harness AIโs potential for safeguarding vulnerable individuยญals in the digital age.
