razini EU-a.
analizu ključnih značajki sektora i čimbenika njegove konkurentnosti. Svrha istraživanja je predložiti
znanstveno utemeljene mjere kojima će osigurati daljnji napredak ovoga sektora na razini Unije.

Abstract:
The Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) sector is one of the fastest growing sectors of the
European economy, with significant shares in employment and GDP. The activities of this sector are
mostly related to small and medium-sized enterprises, which are key drivers of the European economy.
From all the above, the importance of this sector for achieving competitiveness at the EU level is evident.
The research problem stems from the difficulties faced by the CCI sector at EU level, which are
particularly related to obstacles in the legislative environment and the challenges of digitization. The
aim of the research is to present the theoretical aspects of creative and cultural industries in the EU and
to analyze the key features of the sector and the factors of its competitiveness. The purpose of the research
is to propose science-based measures to ensure the further progress of this sector at union level.
